There are two kinds of sweat glands that produce excessive armpit perspiration, which are eccrine and apocrine. The apocrine sweat glands are those which develop during the early to mid puberty stages and which release more than normal amounts of sweat for approximately a month and then regulate themselves and begin only releasing normal amounts of sweat after a certain period of time. These sweat glands are located wherever there is body hair on the body and they produce sweat that contains fatty materials, and are mainly present in the armpits and around the genital area. The Problem Most people who suffer from excessive armpit sweating also suffer from other sweating problems, and this list can actually be quite long and includes other places on the body such as the genital area, the toes of your feet, your palms, forehead and even the face area.
