Florida Camping - A Great Outdoor AdventureState Park Options There are a number of state parks available for Florida camping and each offers a different perspective on the wild outdoors of the state. Grayton Beach State Park has one of the most beautiful unspoiled beaches in the state and the place offers furnished cabins in addition to campsite with both water and electric hook-ups. Suwannee River State Park is a rustic camping experience with access to the river and therefore, plenty of water activities like canoeing. There are campsites available with electric hook-ups along with other amenities and best of all, you can bring the family pooch with you here. Cayo Costa State Park is accessible by a ferry or boat only and has campsites and cabins along with miles of pristine beaches to wander. Florida camping is quite fun when you are in the Keys at Bahia Honda State Park because of its crystal blue waters, white sugary beaches and the lovely palm trees at every turn. National Park and Other Options Everglades National Park is one of the most popular places for camping, particular for Florida camping. Juniper Springs offers swimming choices as well as snorkeling too as outdoor activities to accompany Florida camping options. Alligators, egrets, armadillos, wild turkeys and other wildlife can be found at a variety of Florida camping sites. In addition, you can also choose sites which have more of the comforts of home and less Wild Kingdom. There are also Florida camping sites which offer a happy medium, depending on your preferences for modern conveniences and the great outdoors. |
