Paintball Rules And Equipments: Learning How To Play PaintballGetting Started If you want to know how to play paintball, you need to observe safety first. You cannot learn how to play paintball without wearing the right kind of protective gears. For instance, you cannot go into the playing field without wearing your mask. Note that paintballs travel a great speed and these things can damage your eyes if they hit you on the face. To protect your face and your eyes, never go into the playing field without your mask and while you are inside the netting that surrounds the playing field, do not take off your mask at anytime. You do not really know what could happen when you take off your mask. If you wear prescription eyeglasses, you want to consider wearing contact lenses during the game or simply buy goggles that match the grade of your eyeglasses. Aside from wearing mask, you need to wear the right protective garment if you want to learn how to play paintball. Since you are expected to run around, crawl and even tumble in the field, you need to wear long pants and long sleeve garments and pads to protect your arms and legs. You should also wear protective garments to protect the critically sensitive areas of your body like your heart, your back and your kidneys. Although paintballs do not necessarily break the skin, it can sting a lot and depending on its speed, it can actually bruise your sensitive internal organs. Aside from wearing protective garments, you will need so good shoes if you want to learn how to play paintball. Always bear in mind that you need to be agile and quick on your feet if you want to learn how to play paintball and you can only do this if you are wearing the right shoes. Make sure that you shoes have good traction to help you move quickly even on slippery surfaces. Getting Into The Playing Field For The First Time The best way to learn how to play paintball is to go into the field and actually start playing. When going into the playing field for the first time, stay close to your team. Since you are going into the field for the first time, you team will assign you a buddy who will work with you throughout the game. Stay close to your buddy and try to keep up with him or her. |
