If you allow your kid to play paintball, you must see to it that he keeps his EPD on all the time when he is inside the playing field. EPDs are usually sold in sporting goods stores so you can easily get something that fit your kid's needs. Buy only those EPDs that are designed specifically for paintball games and have the logo of the Protective Eyewear Certification Council (PECC). EPDs that bear the logo of the PECC have been tested by independent laboratories and have been found as safe and reliable. Yes, EPDs that have the logo of PECC may cost a little bit more than those EPDs that do not have the logo of the PECC but since the safety of your child in the foremost consideration here, spending a few dollars more on a reliable EPD will not really hurt. Besides, if you are really wanted to prevent paintball injuries, you must investment in good protective mask.

Aside from buying EPD for your kid, you need to buy him protective vest, pads and gloves to prevent paintball injuries. The protective vest is very important to keep the paintball from causing internal injuries in your kid's sensitive organs. The check and back of your kid specifically needs extra protection. To make sure that the vest fits you kid well, take your kid with you when you buy this item. Ask your kid to try the vest on and move around a little to see if he can move comfortable while wearing it.

The Playing Field

Before you let your child play in any paintball playing field, make sure that the commercial paintball field observes the properly safety measures to prevent paintball injuries. Visit the place at least once before bringing your kid to the paintball field to play.
