If they tell you that your sweating is normal and that there is no underlying cause, you should be grateful that it is not more serious but at the same time you are going to want to do something about it. You can ask your doctor about Drysol, which is aluminum chloride, and when you apply it to the skin it works by shrinking the sweat glands. However you need to remember that it is a prescription medication and so it can only be used with a doctor's guidance.

Another option that is considered as being very successful is hypnosis. With as few as one or two treatments it is believed that you will be able to stop sweating, at least as much as you were before, and hypnosis is a completely safe and worry-free option. Although the media and other forums have, over time, made the general public believe that hypnosis can be dangerous or frightening, this is not at all true and there are hundreds of thousands of satisfied success stories to choose from.



Even doing subtler things such as changing the foods that you include in your diet and getting more exercise can go towards helping you stop sweating so much, and sometimes there is not just one cure but you have to try out various different things in order to find a solution.

Just make sure that the entire time you are working together with your doctor, so that they can keep an eye on you, see what is working and what is not, and inform you if your situation is growing worse. Sweating is definitely not one of the most dangerous ailments or conditions, but it can alter the way you live your life and really impact your self-esteem, and so although it may not actually be harmful to your health in any way you still need to make sure that you are receiving proper treatment for it.
